Digicon develops architectural focused specifications, including the associated Division 00 and Division 01 documents.  We prefer to operate as one of your design team partners;   we welcome the opportunity to contribute constructive suggestions and comments to improve the project design.

We develop project specifications to the same quality of standard as our published master specifications.   Specifically, the following guidelines are used:

Format of Presentation: Specification text conforms to the principles established in the Manual of Practice (MOP) published by Construction Specifications Canada (CSC) and Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), including standard section numbers and titles, 3 part section format and article titles, page layout, and recommended imperative mood specification grammar.

Cross-References: Crosss references to other related specification sections are provided, including Division 01  sections describing administrative requirements and procedures, and other technical sections containing potentially relevant adjacent or supporting products.

Standards: Although Digicon developed the Canadian Master Specification (CMS) and uses it most frequently as the primary basis for development, we are capable of working with other automated software.  It may be valuable to work wih CMS as it is updated quarterly, and cites the most up-to-date standards known at the date of development. We have developed a custom database for standards that  helps to ensure that they  are current.
